What Is Hersheypark?

Hersheypark was originally founded by Milton S. Hershey on the grounds of the original Hershey’s Chocolate Factory as a place of leisure for his employees. Now, it is one of the most popular amusement parks in the area. With chocolate-themed rides and coasters, there’s something sweet for everyone when you take a trip to Hersheypark. Ride coasters like Sidewinder and Skyrush, or take the kids on family-friendly rides such as the Red Baron or the Scrambler. This amusement park is truly the sweetest around, and with the addition of Hersheypark’s new roller coaster, it’s about to get even sweeter.

Hersheypark’s New Roller Coaster

Hersheypark’s New Roller Coaster is going to be a game-changer for the park. Opening its gates in summer 2020, Candymonium is set to be the park’s fastest, tallest, and longest coaster yet. Hersheypark’s New Roller Coaster will be located in the park’s Hershey’s Chocolatetown region.

Candymonium is going to be Hersheypark’s new tallest coaster, standing at over 200 feet. This coaster is meant to give you the most airtime in the entire park with seven hills to climb and descend. This will also be the new fastest coaster in the park at 76 miles per hour and is timed perfectly to cross paths with the park’s Skyrush coaster. Candymonium is also the new longest coaster in the park. This out-and-back coaster covers nearly 5,000 feet of track and is sure to bring you the sweetest thrills in the park.
