We are excited you have selected the Best Western Premier, the Central Hotel for your overnight guest room accommodations while visiting the Harrisburg, Hershey Region! In an effort to continuously enhance the guest experience, it is necessary for us to refresh our accommodations from time to time. We have teamed with Central Pennsylvania’s design specialists to revitalize the design and comfort of our guest rooms and public corridors!
Work began on Monday, October 31, 2022!

The hotel will be revitalizing all 174 hotel guest rooms and suites, and guest room corridors, during the renovation process!
The guest room improvements include residential style ceilings, new wall vinyl, a wooden feature wall, new carpet, new furniture and fixtures, and new bedding! We will also be installing new bathroom vanities, lighted mirrors, and new ceilings in all guest room baths!
In addition to these finishes, highway facing rooms are receiving new windows. All guest room doors, and key lock systems, will also be upgraded to provide RFID technology for our guests!
Absolutely! We are planning to install new 50” Smart TVs in all guest rooms! New electronic clocks, guest room door locks with RFID technology, and improved outlet locations are planned to enhance the guest experience!
Absolutely! Guest room renovations will be completed in sections, allowing the property to remain fully operational during the improvement process without impacting the safety, and comfort of our guests!
All hotel amenities will remain open during property renovations!
We remain optimistic that all guest rooms will be fully completed by Memorial Weekend 2023.
It is possible you may see or hear construction, but noise will not be heard from your guest room between dusk and 8:00am. We anticipate most work will be completed Monday through Friday. Additional work may be completed during the early morning hours, evening hours, or weekends; however, this work will include only those trades that will not create noise, or any inconvenience, for our guests (I.E. Painting).
